I've been a music teacher, a professional accompanist, a cheesemonger, a waitress, a line cook, and a college instructor...among other things. I'm best known for my work as a professional student! I just finished up my Master's degree in Piano Performance, and before that I earned my Master's in English Literature. Now I write books for a living, and it is without doubt the best job in the world.

 

I've been writing all of my life, and I never thought I'd get to do it for an actual career until I published The Duke's Holiday. 

 

I am currently working on the third book in The Regency Romp Trilogy.
